Racine’s Megan Larson named ‘Top Teacher’

Megan Larson, a French teacher at Racine Case High School and a WEAC and Racine Education Association member, has been honored as a Top Teacher by WISN TV, Milwaukee. “I’m excited,” the 13-year veteran teacher said about being a teacher. “I like school, I like being here. This is a fun place where great things happen. So when I walk in here I know it’s a fresh day and I’m going to have some wins and I’m going to have some challenges, but we’re going to get through this together.”

Racine educators act collectively to retain voice in Employee Handbook decisions

An effort to deny employee unions input into the process of making changes to the Employee Handbook was turned down by the Racine Unified School District Board this week, following a strong lobbying effort by the Racine Education Association and the Racine Educational Assistants Association.
